About Me
Hello everyone!
A Huge thank you for visiting my site. I am a double certified Integrative Nutrition Coach. I also have a bachelor's degree in Lab work from the University del Estado de Morelos, Mexico. I am firmly rooted in Chicago, Illinois, but I grew up in the country. Climbing trees, swimming in cold water rivers, and eating fresh foods. It is from these beginnings that I grew passionate about health and fitness. After moving to this big city I began to face several health challenges that were not solved by the Conventional Medical system, so I looked into what my ancestors had done. I have learned that going back to the basics of what nature intended is one of the best ways to maintain one's health.
Food is highly emotional. When going through difficult life changes and transitions, We all have a tendency to put our health at the bottom of the list. My goal is to provide you with the necessary tools and motivation to make those necessary adjustments, that will give you the body and health you've always wanted.
This Is
Me
It is my deepest commitment to help individuals make peace with their health, their bodies, their biology. Through my own life experience I have been able to see how detrimental not taking care of one-self can be. Self care is much more than taking a bubble bath. It is being able to do those things that give us a sense of fulfillment and more importantly a sense of peace with ourselves.

Health
There is a better way to improve our health. Having faced several serious health challenges myself I had to learn how to listen to my body. I had to learn how to be kind to myself, and maintain a self-care routine. Our society is facing a serious health problem. Conventional Medicine is not enough. I believe that Functional Medicine can be the answer to most health issues. This is where I come in.

Motherhood
Having a daughter to love has been one of the biggest blessings and it has come with Huge opportunities to learn about myself. Great lessons come to me every day. It is inspiring, thrilling and yes a bit terrifying at times. There is no bigger love than the one you feel for your child. There are also all the moments when I feel all the insecurities and fears and doubts. It's all part of life. I work every day on doing my best!

Aging
"Graceful aging" they say. This is what I say, "I want to die as young as possible, as late in my life as possible." I understand we cannot stop the clock, we all will get older. Aging is a disease, and there are options to avoid undesired decline. These options should be talked about. Life style reflects how well your body takes the changes coming with getting older. I am constantly working on it....
